Four Quadrants

Doing the Important as well as the Urgent

Most people find that the urgent things they have to do constantly over-ride the important things (which can always be left until another day).
The Four Quadrants can be used to sort out your 'To Do' list into four sections.
The key is to find time to focus on Quandrant 2 items, because these are likely to bring about long term benefits. According to Stephen Covey, Quandrant 2 activities include: relationship building; planning; prevention; recognising new opportunities; and recreation.
